Effective May 9, 2011, the name of the Department of Human Kinetics was changed to the Department of Sport Management and the department was transferred from the College of Education to the College of Business. The Department of Sport Management continues to reside in Old Main and can be reached at x3-4370.

Jonathan Urla’s Yogilates: Beginner’s Workout (DVD 5232) This is a beginning level yoga class that safely tones, stretches, and relaxes your whole body.

Jonathan Urla’s Yogilates: Intermediate Workout (DVD 5233) Combining breath, balance and focus, this intermediate level workout follows Yogilates Creator Jonathan Urla and the on-screen class through a Pilates core strengthening sequence fused with complimentary poses from hatha yoga to lengthen and relieve muscles.

In Search of Memory (DVD 5231) In Search of Memory is a compelling blend of autobiography and history that recounts the life of one of the most important neuroscientists of the 20th century and illuminates scientific developments in our understanding of the brain’s role in recording and preserving memory.

Insomnia (DVD 5253) Mayo Clinic, one of the top medical centers in the country, and GAIAM, the health and wellness experts, team up to bring you this groundbreaking, integrated health action plan designed specifically to relieve insomnia.

Yoga: Core Cross Train (DVD 5250) This DVD includes two core yoga workouts. They are one 30 minute strength building workout and one 30 minute restorative workout.

PASSHE will be performing SAP disaster recovery testing today, Jun. 10. The system will go offline at noon and will not be available again until after the normal back up finishes on Saturday morning. Systems affected are SAP HR/timekeeping, purchasing/materials management, Employee Self Serve, Manager Self Serve, E-time and Business Intelligence. If you need information from any of these systems, please access them before noon on Friday. We apologize for any inconvenience but this is a necessary test and provides assurance that our systems can be up and running in the event of a disaster.

Student Union & Involvement Services is sponsoring Ice Cream Truck and Treats on Wednesday, June 15, 12 - 1:30 p.m. on the MSU Lawn. There will be an ice cream truck with free ice cream treats, as well as popcorn, hot dogs, and lawn games. Please remind your students to bring their KU ID. This event is paid for out of student activity fees and is therefore only open to current KU Students.
