First Book Organization:  As one of Kutztown’s new organizations on campus, we are trying to kick-start our program, but we need your help. First Book is a nonprofit organization that raises money to give children of low income families their first book. Without this organization, many young children are less likely to receive such a wonderful gift. We are asking you to help us raise money by donating any empty jar you may have (i.e., coffee can, pretzel jar, etc.) so that we can put them around Kutztown’s local businesses in hopes for donations. Donation jars can be dropped off at the Community Outreach Center in the MSU. We plan on gaining support from our friends and local businesses in this project. With your help, we will begin to accomplish our goal of supplying books to young children.

Electrical work is being done in the DeFrancesco Building tomorrow by an outside contractor between the hours of 7 a.m. through 4 p.m. Service to the building will not be affected.

Bedroom: Twin size sheets, blankets, pillows, comforters, plastic hangers, alarm clock
Bathroom: Towels, washcloths, shower curtain, bath rug, soap pump, plunger, toilet paper
