Bear Voices, KU's hot a cappella group, will present their Spring show at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 31, in the Georgian Room. The group will perform popular songs from doo wop of the 1950's to harmony songs of today, including  tunes from Billy Joel, Gloria Estefan, Earth Wind & Fire, and featured in The Sing Off. There are no tickets and admission is free. Come and have a blast.

Multipurpose Room. Please encourage all graduating seniors to attend this one-stop graduation shop. Did you do it yet? The Institutional Climate Initiative survey - it is very important for our students, faculty and staff. If we are to truly understand how to improve our campus environment and make the necessary changes to KU, we need to first hear from you.  The survey can be accessed at www.KUclimate.com. The survey takes about 20-40 minutes - it needs to be completed by Apr. 1.

The Kutztown University Planetarium starts off another season of one-hour laser light shows on Friday, Apr. 1, through Thursday, Apr. 7. The planetarium, located in the Grim Science Building room 100, hosts a variety of laser light shows to the music of the Beatles, Madonna, Pink Floyd, Crystal Method, Metallica, and others.

The first show, Laser Beatles, is at 6 p.m., followed by two more at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. The laser light shows are open to the public, with tickets on sale for $3 at MSU, at the door of the show, or online for an additional processing fee.

The planetarium, recently enhanced with a full-dome digital projection system, is used for introductory astronomy laboratory exercises and for the university's Astronomy Outreach Program. The planetarium is also open for free shows on scheduled dates, listed on the website. Private group shows can be scheduled online at the planetarium’s website. The sixth annual Drag Show, a student production by Allies, is Wednesday, Apr. 6, at 7 p.m. in MSU 218. Tickets are $5 with a student ID and $10 for others and are available at the MSU information desk. Tickets are limited. Donations are accepted and all profits benefit the Trevor Project. The Science Behind the Fox TV Show “Lie to Me.”

he Psychology Department and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences are proud to be sponsoring an invited address by Dr. Erika Rosenberg entitled, “The Science Behind the Fox TV Show ‘Lie to Me’” today, from 11-11:50 a.m. in AF 201. Rosenberg is an emotions researcher, educator, health psychologist, and a world renowned expert in facial expression measurement using the Facial Action Coding System (FACS). Kutztown University and the Borough of Kutztown are pleased to announce an open application process for a Student
ambassador non-voting position within the Borough Council for the Borough of Kutztown as well as to the Mayor of Kutztown. This position is open to any full time Kutztown University student and will begin Sept. 1, for a one-year term. Interested students must submit the completed application no later than Apr. 29. The applications will be reviewed by representatives of KU and the Borough of Kutztown. Following a review, finalists will be determined and those applicants will be interviewed. The Race Against Racism committee is looking for donations and runners for our 5th annual Race Against Racism. The race will be held on Apr. 9 at 9 a.m. This is a 5k run/1k walk, the 1k is considered a "fun walk" which is a great opportunity to get the kids involved. The committee is hoping to get at least 200 runners involved, as well as faculty sponsor support for runners. It is $15 for individual student runners and $25 for all other participants. All proceeds from the race will go toward the Boys and Girls Club of Berks County. Any questions should be directed to Amanda Kerns, RAR advisor, kerns@kutztown.edu
