Mary Grace Wible paintings on sale - The Kutztown University Foundation is pleased to invite you to preview and purchase the paintings of Professor Emeritus Mary Grace Wible. Professor Wible donated her paintings to the KU Foundation to be used or sold to benefit the students of the College of Visual & Performing Arts through the Dean’s Excellence Fund. Wible was an art education professor at KU.

The Wible art will be displayed in the Wiesenberger Alumni Center, 2nd floor, room 205. You can also preview the paintings at http://www.give2ku.org/files/wiblepaintings.pdf. Most of the paintings need to be re-matted and framed. The Art Store on Main Street in Kutztown will provide a 30% discount on custom framing (with proof of purchase from the KU Foundation) for any Wible painting purchased through the KU Foundation.

The purchase of a painting is not tax-deductible. Payment can be made via credit card, check or cash at the time of purchase. Open house hours to view or purchase a Wible painting will be held at the following times.

Congratulations to Dr. Ina Grapenthin for yesterday's successful North American Organ Competition. Though our two KU students did not finish in the top three, judges, family members and guests agreed the performances were riveting and the organists very talented. First place was awarded to Thomas Schuster of Miami, Fla; second place was awarded to Andrew Peters of St. Louis, Mo; third place was awarded to Ryan Murphy of Pittsburgh, Pa. KU's Doreen Smeck was recognized with the Audience Choice.

Website assistance requests - Please be advised that the University Relations web team is in the midst of redesigning the university’s website.  The university will have a new website in the coming school year, so please consider this when deciding on beginning any website projects for your areas.  Because of our project, we cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to assist you with day-to-day maintenance of the existing websites.  We will accommodate requests as time permits, however, we need to ask for at least four weeks notice so that we can plan and implement changes properly.  Thank you for your understanding.
