It's time for the last Student Union Art Gallery exhibition of the semester. "Don't Throw That Out!" a group exhibition will be up from Friday, Dec. 2 until Thursday, Dec. 15. Tonight there will be a catered opening reception where artists can buy, sell, and trade artworks from 5 - 7 p.m. We hope to see you there.

The KU Philosophy Club will meet on Friday, Dec. 9, at 4 p.m. in MSU 312. Professor Howard Robinson, University Professor of Philosophy, Central European University, will be speaking on Why We Should Believe in Libertarian Free Will.

Today, Dec 6, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be an event to raise awareness about various social causes through the vehicle of social justice-based art. AwART is a production of ARC200, Critical Theory: Visual Culture class. Causes include Visibility of KU's Women's Rugby, World Poverty, Littering on Campus, Hunger, Animal Rights, etc. Look for us near the library lawn or near the Sharadin Building in case of rain.

It is with sincere compassion and heartfelt sympathy that I inform you of Mary Dottor’s passing on Dec. 3. Mary is the mother of Greg Dottor in the KU Accounting office. Chamber Singers Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 6, @ 7:30 p.m. in
Georgian Room, OM - Chamber Singers, a select group of KU singers, will present a Winter Concert of advanced choral repertoire. ·  The PASSHE Academy is a new initiative designed to expand personal and professional development and wellness opportunities for all PASSHE employees. The Academy makes some employee development programs offered at one university available to employees at all PASSHE universities. Courses are available now and will be updated on an on-going basis.  (If training is scheduled during your workday, please be sure to get supervisory approval in advance of registering.
