The starting wide receiver holds a 3.76 overall GPA and played a significant part in Kutztown's historic season, ranking third on the team with 582 receiving yards on 35 catches. Smith helped the Golden Bears set a school record for wins in a season (11), while winning its first PSAC Championship and NCAA playoff game. Kutztown rose as high as sixth in the AFCA Division II rankings, the highest in school history. Topics range from coping with everyday communication problems, to genetically altered food and its effect on human relationships, to consequences of the recent closing of atomic energy plants in Germany. KU students will present from approx. 2:15-3:15 p.m. German Students from Kutztown High School will also attend and present some of their original work from approx 3:15-4 p.m. The German Students' Organization will offer traditional German Christmas cakes and cookies following the performance. Beginning in January, renovations to Schaeffer Auditorium will necessitate the closing down of some pedestrian walkways near to the construction site.
