October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and KU’s Kappa Psi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority focuses their philanthropic and service causes to Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. ZTA is once again proud to be working with Yoplait Yogurt and its “Saving Lids to Save Lives” campaign in 2011. We hope to help Yoplait further its mission to make a healthy difference in the lives of its consumers. For each pink lid redeemed by customers, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen For the Cure, up to $2 million. So…all you yogurt eaters….get going and gobble up that yummy yogurt! Just remember to save your lids. Anyone wishing to help our girls out can send the lids to me via campus mail, Barb Reitz, Purchasing, or deposit them in the large collection container in the MSU, or simply notify me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be glad to pick them up. Deadline for submitting lids to me is Friday, Nov. 18. Thanks for all your support in helping our girls reach their goal.
