Parking on Campus -
You may be aware that we are experiencing some challenges with parking on campus. Due to recent weather conditions paired with migrating to a new Adirondack online parking administrative system that is compatible with PeopleSoft, some of our parking lots (most notably the Fairgrounds lot) have been filled to capacity and closed for short periods of time. This has resulted in students being allowed to park in white-lined spaces elsewhere on campus until the safety concerns and software conversion issues can be rectified. Please know that we are doing everything possible to alleviate the inconvenience this may be causing for students, staff and faculty, including offering close to 300 resident students the opportunity to “upgrade” their parking permit from the Fairgrounds lot to parking lots closer to their residences for the remainder of the academic year. Furthermore, while we are demonstrating flexibility with student parking, we are enforcing parking regulations in all other areas, including yellow-lined spaces for faculty and staff as well as all reserved parking spaces.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Public Safety and Police Services at x3-4002. Thank you for your patience.

You’ve patiently waited for it! Now it’s almost here! Live student/faculty/and staff specialty shows kick off again on Kutztown University Radio (KUR) Monday, Sept. 12. We think this may be our most diverse schedule yet. How about a car show? A technical talk show? An electronic music show? Several hip/hop R&B shows? How about some good old-fashioned rock shows to soothe those saddened by the death of Philadelphia’s WYSP? How about the only Latino show in north-eastern Berks radio? Or the only gay/lesbian issues show? Or plenty of great jazz which continues as our primary daytime format? Are you catching our drift? KUR thinks we’ve out-done ourselves again this year and you can get the entire schedule of programs by clicking here: http://www.kutztown.edu/divisions/studentservices/departments/radioservices/schedule/index.aspx
