Sept. 21, 3-3:45 pm in Stratton 113 Kerri Gardi, Director, Career Development Center One last reminder about the Rohrbach Library Open House on Monday, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. I know some of you have already gotten back to us to let us know that you are sending your classes and are offering extra credit. If anyone else plans to send their classes, please let me or Krista Prock (prock@kutztown.edu) know so that we can plan accordingly. Make sure you tell them to put your name and the course on the back of their passports. We'll compile all of your students and send you a list of who attended. Even if you aren't offering credit, we would appreciate it if you would share this opportunity to learn about the library with your students. The students will complete a self-guided tour to 8 library locations, including our new Media Collection on the second floor, where the DVD's from the Audiovisual Center are going as we finish processing them. At each location, a library employee will stamp their passport and tell them about that area. The students will fill out the back of the passport for a chance to win prizes; this is where the professor and course information will also be submitted. Thanks for your support. We are hoping for another great turnout. (Note: any professors who would like to complete a trip around our library during the Open House are also welcome to do so! It's a fun way to see the various areas of the library, including our current exhibits.) Karen J. Wanamaker, assistant professor, librarian, Rohrbach Library Keep KUR as your early autumn soundtrack. On Tuesday, Sept. 20, it's our "Tuesday Talk " block of all community access news/talk from 2 to 7 p.m., starting off with "Kutztown Live" at 2, "The Dan Donahue Show" at 3, "The KU Car Show" at 4, "Notas Latinas" at 5, and "Documentation" at 6. Michael Regensburger, KUR Radio Flu Shots - PASSHE will not be offering on-campus flu shot clinics for employees this year. Additional information will be forthcoming and has been posted on PEBTF website at www.pebtf.org Jean Adam, Benefits Manager Service Request Schedule/Special Event Support- In an effort to better serve our customers, the Facilities Office schedules event support and deliveries in advance. As a result of the volume of these types of requests, timely planning and notification by our customers will greatly increase our opportunity for success in this area. Because of the many varied interests and competing priorities, we must be able to better anticipate use of our limited resources. In the future, the Facilities Department may not be able to guarantee that we will service requests on short notice, since doing so may impact other customers' planned requests. Please submit your set-up requests and special event support needs at least two weeks in advance through iService Desk in order to assure that you will have the level of support that you need. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
