The following members of the TRIO Student Support
Services Program will be leaving campus early this morning, April 11.
They will be participating in a field trip to New York City to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and to see the Broadway production of “Memphis.” Please excuse these students from classes that day and permit them to complete any coursework missed because of this activity. On Saturday, April 21, the Alumni Engagement office hosts a Spring Sports
Tailgate. You can check-out the baseball game, softball game, the women’s
lacrosse game and men’s rugby club, as well as the spring football game:
Maroon & Gold Spring Football Game – 1 p.m. at University Field
Baseball vs. West Chester (doubleheader) – 1 p.m. at North Campus Field
Softball vs. East Stroudsburg (doubleheader) – 1 p.m. at North Campus Field
Men’s Rugby vs. Rutgers – 1 p.m. at the North Campus Pitch
Women’s Lacrosse vs. Lock Haven - 3 p.m. at Keystone Field

Designathon by the numbers: 90 students, six KUCD professors and 15 KUCD alumni participated in the event 30 non-profit clients (with the majority being
from the surrounding local communities). 2664 total hours put toward non-profit design
work. This equals $119,880 worth of design services provided at no
charge. Yes, they really did stay up for 24 hours!

Gift Baskets - I invite you to put your creative talents to work – design a basket of treasures for the spring and summer seasons. The proceeds raised from ticket sales for basket chances will be used to support KUBoK (Kutztown University and Borough of Kutztown) Neighborhood Watch, a volunteer coalition of community residents and KU students, faculty and staff working and walking together to maintain a safe and friendly community. The baskets will be displayed on-campus in the MSU on Thursday, May 3 and off-campus at the Community Block Party on Sunday, May 6. Chances to win baskets will be sold at both locations. Anyone can participate - staff, faculty, departments, clubs and organizations. Do it individually or as a group. Be as creative as you like and as non-traditional as you want it to be! You can base it around a theme, a hobby, sporting team, or anything that comes to mind. The deadline to submit baskets is May 1. Baskets should be gift-wrapped in cellophane and can be dropped off at the Dean of Students office, MSU 262. Please give your basket a creative name and identify who it is being sponsored by. The Annual Saucony Cross' Senior Prom hosted by the Off-Campus Advisory Council (OCAC) will be held on Tuesday, Apr. 17, 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Saucony Cross retirement home main office (next to the cliffs). Come volunteer for our "Under the Sea" prom which includes free dinner, dancing, music and prizes! There will be a professional photographer available to take pictures of individuals and groups.
