Kutztown University’s philosophy professor, Dr. John Lizza, delivers the Chambliss Faculty Lecture on "Defining the End of Life" on Wednesday, May 2 at 4:30 p.m. in MSU 183. Dr. Lizza’s lecture, “Defining the End of Life,” examines the current debate over whether “brain death” is death and whether individuals in persistent vegetative state should be counted among the living “we.” Advances in medical technology have posed many ethical and social problems, but perhaps none more fundamental and challenging than the problem of defining death. Dave Farrow: Today's Foremost Expert on Memory - Now you can develop a Millionaire Memory in just a short period of time. Dave Farrow is the current Guinness World Record holder for greatest memory, and he will be here in Kutztown on Tuesday, May 1! During this presentation you will more than triple your present memory, not to mention discover the secret to memorizing people’s names, languages, school work, and speeches with absolute ease and confidence. Dave’s Techniques work and you’ll be the proof. At 14, Dave was diagnosed with dyslexia and attention deficit disorder. Dave was determined to overcome his learning disabilities on his own. When he was 16, a teacher asked Dave why he was trying so hard to learn because there was no point in it. This comment didn’t discourage Dave from continuing his endeavor and he studied hard on memory techniques. Come join us May 1, at 7 p.m. in MSU 218 to learn these strategies that rocketed Dave Farrow into the Guinness Book of World Records. The event is sponsored by ACE.
