In Case You Missed It:
(Announcements and other information that have previously appeared in the Daily Brief.)

Congratulations to José Molina,
KU director of government relations, who was appointed to
Governor Tom Corbett’s Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs (GACLA). GACLA serves as an advocacy and support agency for Pennsylvania’s Latino community. The members of GACLA make suggestions about legislation, policies and procedures; in addition, the commission ensures the prosperity of the Latino Community, as well as keeping the state government within reach.  Molina, a KU employee since 2001 and a 2004 alumnus, was chosen as the Latino Outreach Coordinator for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2007. He was selected as the 2008 Latino of the Year by the Allentown branch of the Puerto Rican Cultural Alliance.

Window washing in selected areas will be taking place at the Academic Forum, Sharadin Arts and Boehm Science on Monday Aug. 6, and Tuesday Aug. 7. Thank you.
