Blues guitarist Matt Schofield kicks-off the 2012-13 KUPresents! season on Wednesday, October 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Ursa Minor's Cafe, MSU MPR.
Firmly established as the freshest and most exciting blues guitarist to have emerged on the world scene for many years, Schofield's powerful mix of blues, rock
and New Orleans funk is unlike anything else on the block. He is rated among the top ten British blues guitarists of all time (Guitar & Bass Magazine) putting him

The annual Opening Day Gathering will be held on Friday, Aug. 24 in the Multipurpose Room of the MSU. A continental breakfast at 8 a.m. will precede the annual opening day address and presentations given by our union and university Senate leaders at 8:30 a.m. The Arthur and Isabel Wiesenberger Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching will also be presented at this event. Please respond with your attendance plans to rsvp@kutztown.edu by Aug. 20.

Save your coupon sheets! For our Day of Service on Saturday, Sept. 1, the Community Outreach Center will again be offering students short, but meaningful projects to participate in. One of these projects is cutting and sorting coupons for the families of military families. Through a special program they are able to use certain coupons up to 6 months after they expire. We will cut them out and sort into categories to be sent – but we need the coupon sheets. These are mostly found in your typical Sunday paper but we welcome any kind of publication that offers multiple coupons. We will collect these through Friday, Aug. 31. You may drop them off or mail them to the Community Outreach Center, Room 281 MSU. Thank you!
