by Aug. 20. Save your coupon sheets! For our Day of Service on Saturday, Sept. 1, the Community Outreach Center will again be offering students short, but meaningful projects to participate in. One of these projects is cutting and sorting coupons for the families of military families. Through a special program they are able to use certain coupons up to 6 months after they expire. We will cut them out and sort into categories to be sent – but we need the coupon sheets. These are mostly found in your typical Sunday paper but we welcome any kind of publication that offers multiple coupons. We will collect these through Friday, Aug. 31. You may drop them off or mail them to the Community Outreach Center, Room 281 MSU. Thank you! Jerry W. Schearer, assistant dean, New Student Programs University Fuel Pump Outage - The university fuel pumps located at the new maintenance building will be out of service on Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. to allow the electrical panel to be upgraded. Please make sure you fill up the gas tanks on all university vehicles prior to 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, Aug. 14. Terry D. Brown, director, Facilities Project Services |
