Teacher candidates from the early childhood science methods class (EEU 205 Teaching Science in Early Childhood-Summer 2) eagerly watch for raptors at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
This experience was implemented to broaden their knowledge of community resources, the importance of natural experiences with children, methods of integrating content/process skills
and various disciplines, and conservation efforts. Thanks to assistant professor Michele White for sharing!
