More than 200 transfer and first-year freshmen are on-campus today for orientation. If you see someone today looking like they need
guidance, please could you take a moment, lend an ear and point the student in the right direction. (Above: CONNECTIONS leaders help-out at last January's program.)

In Case You Missed It:

Service Request Schedule/Special Event Support- In an effort to better serve our customers, the Facilities Office schedules events, moves, and deliveries in advance. Timely planning and notification by our customers will greatly increase our opportunity for success in this area. Because of the many varied interests and competing priorities, we must be able to better anticipate use of our limited resources. In the future, the Facilities Department may not be able to guarantee that we will service requests on short notice, since doing so may impact other customers' planned requests. Please submit your set-up requests and special event support needs at least two weeks in advance in order to assure that you will have the level of support that you need. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Activating your D2L courses -
As we approach the start of the Spring semester we want to remind faculty that courses in Desire2Learn are created as "inactive". This simply means you will be able to have access to your D2L learning space sooner, since your students will not have access to your course until you choose to make your course status "active". Instructions for activating your courses are available within Desire2Learn. Please contact D2Ladmin@kutztown.edu with any questions.
