Emergency Evacuation Drills Planned - The Office of Environmental Safety & Health will be conducting the required semi-annual fire/emergency evacuation drills of the academic buildings during the first two days of classes, weather permitting. These drills are conducted to refresh faculty and staff on the necessary steps required to swiftly and safely evacuate their classrooms and offices. Please remember to turn off lights and close hallway doors upon exiting the building, and have your class walk well clear from the building exits to allow others to evacuate quickly and smoothly. These drills should be completed in under 10 minutes, but may come at the beginning, middle, or end of the class period. Please plan accordingly by reviewing emergency evacuation procedures with each class during your initial introduction. There will only be one drill per building. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this necessary exercise.
Mark W. Hostetter, Fire Safety Technician

The Kutztown University Council of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. at the Stratton Administration Building, room 301.
