Our thoughts are with the family of Juan Tolentino, Sr., a 2nd
shift custodian in the MSU, who passed away on June 3. Juan’s family
wished to express their thanks to everyone from the KU community who donated
leave, flowers and monetary gifts in his memory. Juan is survived by his wife
Evelyn, six children and 21 grandchildren. If anyone wishes to send a card or
make other donations to the family, please feel free to drop them off at the
Facilities’ Main Office in Old Main I wing. Please be advised that the MSU will be open this Saturday, Jun. 16, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in support of the CONNECTIONS program. Chris Ferris, Secretary Local 2234 2012 Kutztown Folk Festival seeks volunteers from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, June 30 to Sunday, July 8, to assist in several areas at the 2012 Festival. Assignments are available as greeters at the festival gates, survey takers to interview visitors and several other general tasks. Volunteers may sign up for 3-hour shifts throughout the week. Free passes as well as a Festival pin are our gift to you! This is our way of showing our appreciation to our volunteers.
