Because of the renovations to the KU Data Center, located behind the Stratton Administration Center, electrical power will need to be turned-off on three different weekends - which will mean
outages in several main systems.

The three weekends planned for these outages: 6/29-7/2; 8/17-20; and 11/23-26.

Please see the information detailing these outages here: http://www.kutztown.edu/news/brief/2012/June/12-06-13DataCenterServiceOutageSchedule.pdf

Annual Fire Alarm Testing - During the next 2-3 weeks, technicians from Simplex Grinnell Fire Protection will be conducting required annual tests of the fire alarm systems in the North Campus buildings. These tests help assure that all components of the detection and alerting system are functioning properly. While much of this testing can be accomplished silently, full activation of the fire alarm system will be necessary to check the notification devices. This testing will be conducted throughout the workday, however, great efforts will be made to avoid disruption of class sessions and office functioning by conducting the audible portions on off-peak hours and between scheduled class periods. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
