Welcome Dean Smith to the KU Foundation!
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Smith as the new major gifts officer, College of Business, at the Kutztown University Foundation and Alumni Engagement, effective June 11. Dean will be responsible for securing major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations to support university, college, and foundation priorities. Dean graduated with a degree in communications from Millersville University and earned his MBA in management from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pa. Prior to joining the KU Foundation, Dean served as a senior performance consultant and practice director for the Abreon Group. Dean brings a proven track record of success in strategic planning and communications, which will be invaluable in meeting the foundation’s goals and objectives.

Because of the renovations to the KU Data Center, located behind the Stratton Administration Center, electrical power will need to be turned-off on three different weekends - which will mean
