honor of the 2012 season, following her performance at the National Training Center (NTC) Spring Games over the weekend.

The Second Computer Music Seminar/Concert to take place in Grim Planetarium is Mar. 20, 7-9 p.m., hosted by Dr. Dale Parson of Computer Science and Dr. Phillip Reed of Physical Sciences. The guest performer is Mark Jenkins of the UK, who will perform an electronic composition entitled “Supernova” designed with video accompaniment for performance in a planetarium. Mr. Jenkins will give a talk on migrating from a stage full of hardware synthesizers to performing on iPads, and then give a demonstration/performance using several iPads. Finally, Dr. Parson and students will play a new music-generating game that emulates the expanding universe on the planetarium dome. Admission is free and open to the public.
