Department of Counseling and Student Affairs Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling candidate Ashley Flor presented with with Dr. Jo Cohen Hamilton at the International Society for Ethical Psychology and Psychiatry conference held in Philadelphia on Nov. 3. Their presentation, "Client-Centered Therapy: Forgotten or Misunderstood; Uniquely Ethical, Egalitarian, Effective" was supported by a "Give Students a Chance" grant that was awarded by the College of Education Dean to provide Kutztown University Foundation funding of Ms. Flor's conference fees.

Kyle Ueberroth blocked a 33-yard field goal attempt with two seconds remaining as Kutztown held off LIU Post, 14-12, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division contest on Saturday. Join Kutztown University for not one—but five days of Thanksgiving. This Sunday, Nov. 18, KU hosts a Community Thanksgiving Service in MSU218 at 5 p.m. The service is followed the next day with a Choir Concert performed at 7 p.m. in the Georgian Room. On Nov. 20, Kutztown Youth Choir will host “Potpourri of Entertainment KU Jazz Combo” at 7 p.m. in the Trinity Church. Join guest speaker Kevin McCloskey at the Kutztown Tavern Banquet Hall Room for “Thanksgiving with a Twist.” Ending the week on Nov. 21 is Thanksgiving dinner, held in St. John’s UCC from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
