novelist and a nationally-syndicated columnist
and winner of the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Commentary will be presenting at KU at
7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, in Boehm145. The topic of discussion is “Alternate
Realities: Political Discourse in a Facts-Optional Nation.” This presentation is

Dennis Williams, associate professor in the music department, will present “Performance Anxiety and the Fight or Flight Syndrome” on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. in the Sharadin120. Dennis Williams will talk about stage fright and all of its manifestations. This presentation will focus on suggesting recommendations for the condition based on the Fight or Flight Syndrome. Since Performance Anxiety affects almost everyone in every walk of life and every age group, the discussion will be helpful to many persons in the university.
