Kutztown University’s Off-Campus Student Life and Commuter Services Offices will again be organizing a Community Blitz on Saturday, Sept. 8, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., to welcome back students living in the Kutztown community. We’ll meet at Trinity Church (357 W. Main Street) at 11 a.m. to form and send out teams that will distribute welcome bags to identified student housing in the borough. Afterwards, all volunteers are invited to the Community Blitz Picnic for off-campus students and residents of Kutztown Borough from 1 – 3 p.m. in the parking lot of St. Paul’s UCC Church on S. Whiteoak Street.
We need your help! First, we’re collecting promotional materials and/or giveaways to put in the welcome bags to introduce off-campus students to offices/programs on campus. Second, we need people to help Kutztown Mayor Green and President Cevallos distribute bags to off-campus students before the picnic. Please contact Susan Mangold at email@example.com if you are able to help in any way. Friends and family are welcome to join us. Feel free to share this request with others.
