Lost and Found – Someone accidentally turned in a black velvet eight-corner tam to KUSSI in the faculty robing room following the Dec. 15 commencement ceremony. If this tam (cap) belongs to you, it can be claimed in MSU 170 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

“Habt en glickseeliges Neiyaahr! - Start the New Year with a 2013 Pennsylvania German Language Calendar, still available at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center. The calendars are in both English and PA German, with recolored historic images of the local landscape. They can be purchased at the Heritage Center for $12. Voting for the AFSCME Local 2234 open trustee position will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15 in the OM concourse from 7 - 8 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; and 2 - 3 p.m. If you are a full member of the Local please come out to vote. GRE PREP COURSE
In response to students’ requests for a GRE preparation course, the Career Development Center and Kaplan have arranged for a special discounted price for Kaplan’s Online GRE Prep Course. This is a self-paced course with video instruction, over 5,000 practice questions, seven full-length practice tests, email access to Kaplan advisors, and study materials including textbooks, workbooks, flashcards and reference guides.  Please visit careers.kutztown.edu for details.

FACILITIES MOVE:  The Facilities offices and services currently located in Old Main I Wing, along with the Environmental Health & Safety office, will be moving to the Facilities building on Baldy Street this week.  Areas involved in the move include Facilities administration, key and lock shop, custodial services, University Architect, the Work Control Center, Facilities Project Services, and the Office of Environmental Health & Safety. During this time, services provided by these areas will be limited to emergencies.

 

A Facilities representative will be available by telephone (x31594) to handle emergencies from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. during this period of time. Emergencies outside of these times should be called to Public Safety (x34002). Routine requests can continue to be entered online via I-Service desk and maintenance services will continue to operate normally during this time.  We appreciate your patience and look forward to serving you from our Baldy Street address after January 5, 2013.
