All KU students follow the same admission process as outlined below regardless of whether they are attending on campus or via distance. Visit the Admissions Office for more detailed information.
Students are encouraged to complete the online application. A credit card will be needed to complete this process. (Please note, professional credit students are not charged a fee.)
A hard copy of the application can be downloaded from the graduate website. In this case, students must submit a check or money order. Students submitting a hard copy must also download and print a copy of the processing fee card and include with their application and fee.
The graduate application fee is $35 and is non-refundable.

Only completed applications which meet all admissions requirements are forwarded to the academic departments for consideration. Exceptions cannot be made for those who do not comply with the published deadlines of the Admissions Office.
Incomplete applications are kept on file for one academic year. If a student wishes to continue with the process after one year, they will be required to submit a new application and pay the $35 processing fee.
