"Planet Hunting at the KU Observatory" Planetarium Show

Extrasolar planets, or exoplanets, are planets that orbit stars other than our Sun. Exoplanets are rather difficult to find because they are very far away and are lost in the glare of their parent stars. While it is estimated that there are many billions of exoplanets in our Galaxy alone, very few of them have been found.

Planet Hunting at the KU Observatory, a new live and interactive planetarium show available only at the Kutztown University Planetarium, will reveal how astronomers at Kutztown University are helping to find new exoplanets. The Observatory will be open for tours and observing after the planetarium show.
