About Us

We encourage you to use our website to become familiar with our wide range of services, programs, and resources. We serve undergraduate and graduate students from across all academic disciplines, as well as alumni, by helping them define their career goals and take the steps necessary to achieve them.

We invite you to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have regarding our services.

Hours and Location

The CDC is located on the first floor of the Stratton Administration Center (113) and is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the academic year.

Summer Hours, which run May - August, are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed 12-12:30 p.m.


Quick Question/Walk-In Hours

You are welcome to stop by the center (Stratton 113) Monday-Friday from 2-4 p.m. for quick questions, no appointment required.

Goals

The goals of the career development process are to:
1. Think in terms of functional responsibilities rather than merely linking major to job
2. Acquire and develop the skills necessary to become informed career decision makers
3. Develop the potential of becoming responsible managers of their own careers
