Walking in the Shoes of...

The intention of "Walking In The Shoes Of..." is to introduce and reinforce the concept of higher education to teens residing in the foster care system by having them participate in the segments of campus life for a day. The focus of the day is a period of time where the foster teen is paired with faculty, administration, or staff to discuss their career interests as well as take a "walk in the shoes of" the KU community member. Furthermore, the program encourages foster children to envision Kutztown University and PASSHE as allies in their pursuit of a promising future.
