   The Human Rights Campaign has been one of the most outspoken supporters of marriage equality and non-discrimination ordinances over the past several years.


   AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power; founded in 1987, ACT UP aims to support AIDS victims both directly through community involvement and through legislation and lobbying.

   An organization that criticizes mainstream "Gay Rights" movements and opposes the military, prisons, and marriage as a state institution.

   Activist Resource for LGBT+ rights.

Equality PA

   Strives to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education, and public policy work.

   Advocates for the rights of LGBT and HIV-positive asylum seekers, detainees, and binational couples

Lambda Legal

   Leads in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and HIV immigration rights; helps to end the HIV travel ban and lead the successful fight to secure green cards for LGBT families.

National Gay and Lesbian Taskforce

   Voices a need for the uncompromising national equality for LGBT individuals.

Philadelphia FIGHT  

   Related to ACT UP, Philly FIGHT sponsors a number of programs to help end the AIDS epidemic.

Sylvia Rivera Law Project

   Supports international legislation protecting gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people as an initiative of the United Nations Human Rights Office. Named for Sylvia Rivera who, along with Marsha P. Johnson, housed and fed      countless LGBTQ homeless youth and was a major figure associated with the Stonewall Riots.
