  • Golden Bear Blitz

The Golden Bear Blitz is an initiative that focuses on the success and retention of KU students. Representatives from multiple offices across campus as well as members of the faculty will be on hand both days to assist students. The concept of the Blitz is that of one stop shopping. Participating offices and faculty will be able to answer questions and provide services to students on site. If they cannot meet the need of the student in the moment, the faculty and staff will set up an appointment for the student to come meet with them in their actual office space.

Find out more information here: Golden Bear Blitz

Additional activities can be found in the basements of Lehigh Hall and Berks Hall.

2019's HARLOween will be Sunday, October 20th 2-5pm in Berks and Lehigh Halls. To sign up for trick or treating, or to donate children's hats/gloves or monetary donations for CONCERN of Berks County, stop by the front desk in Lehigh Hall.

  • Deck The Halls

The Sunday before Finals week is Deck The Halls day when each hall decorates their lobby or other designated common area in a theme. That evening President Hawkinson and the RHA executive board will visit each hall. Information on rules and judging criteria will be announced at a hall council meeting in November.

  • Bearfest

Bearfest is one of Kutztown University's longest standing traditions. Bearfest is a multi-day event toward the end of the academic year that is planned and run by a committee of students who start meeting in the Fall.

Bearfest 42 will be April 22-25, 2020. For more information on Bearfest, such as how to join the committee or contribute to the event, click here.
