Living Learning Community/Special Interest Group Application Information
Instructions for applying for an LLC/Special Interest Group:
- Students who are interested in becoming a member of a community must fill out a Special Interest Community Application.
- The application can be found under the Forms and Applications tab on the mykuhousing.kutztown.edu portal.
- Students should only select one community from the drop down menu.
- Students will be contacted between July-August as it relates to their acceptance into the community and their housing assignment.
Some programs may have a separate application processes with different deadlines. Please see below for specific application information.
Board of Governors Scholars Community
Membership is on a first come first serve basis. Students that wish to become a member of this community must indicate so on their scholarship application. Once they are awarded the scholarship, they will be placed in the community.
Please click here to visit the Board of Governors Scholars Community page.
Honors Living Learning Community
Membership for the Honors Program is by invitation from the Office of Admissions.
Please click here to visit their webpage.
TRIO Student Support Services
Students who wish to participate in the TRIO SSSP Community should go to TRIO SSSP Application page and complete their specific information.
Please click here to visit the TRIO SSSP Apply Now webpage.
PLEASE NOTE: We highly encourage LLC and Special Interest Group students to live with one another because of the limited number of spaces in these communities. The application process has been completed for the 2019-2020 school year and will open back up for the 2020-2021 school year in April 2020. Students who are interested in participating in the academic learning community but are not interested in partaking in the living component may do so (this applies to the Social Work Community, KUVA Art Community, and TRIO). In this case, students should keep the Learning Community Meetings on their course schedules and select their housing outside of the community.
