Temporary Faculty Positions in Counselor Education

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The university is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Counselor Education and Student Affairs at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple temporary, part-time faculty positions to begin Fall 2023. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: Master’s degree in counseling or counseling related field, evidence of scholarly activity and completion of an interview. Preferred: Teaching experience at a graduate level and an earned Doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP accredited counselor education program. Candidate must have the ability to teach the CACREP common core curricular areas and have a clear identity as a professional counselor.
