Temporary Faculty Position in Instructional Technologies

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The university is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Elementary, Middle-Level, Library and Technologies Education at Kutztown University invites applications for one or more part-time, temporary positions specializing in K-12 school library practices, instructional and learning technologies for the 2023-2024 academic year. Individual courses will vary in terms of delivery (face-to-face and online). In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: a master’s degree in library science or equivalent OR a master's degree in education focusing on instructional and learning technologies or equivalent; and a minimum of five years of teaching experience in K-12 or higher education settings. Preferred: a second master’s degree focusing on education; experience in K-12 settings.
