Part-time Temporary Low Brass Tuba Instructor (AY 22-23)

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 9,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Music at Kutztown University announces the following part-time temporary sabbatical replacement position for the 2022-2023 academic year – Applied Tuba and Euphonium and Brass Ensemble instructor.  Teach applied Tuba and Euphonium lessons to majors and minors and possibly lead the University Brass Ensemble.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Music, or a related industry field, and one academic year of related teaching experience. Successful interview and demonstration of teaching and performance ability will be required.  Position has the possibility of combining with current Composition and/or Music Technology searches.  If applying for more than one position, indicate in the letter of application and send only one application.
