Temporary Faculty Position in Public Relations for Spring 2023

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The university is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of English at Kutztown University invites applications for a part-time position with its innovative Public Relations program for the Spring 2023 semester. The one- or two-course teaching load is primarily for Public Relations Ethics and Law, however, depending on the candidate's expertise and department need it may also include Writing for Social Media or Writing for the Workplace.

In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: a Master’s degree in English, Writing, Communications or a related field; experience in the industry of Public Relations. Preferred: Doctorate and college-level teaching experience. Experience working with diverse population is required.
