Connecting to Server Drives on a PC
To map the Network drives manually go into File Explorer then click This PC. Across the top of the window, you should see Map Network Drive. For Department Drive choose the letter of the Drive (generally P is used) and in the Folder path type \\adminfs.kutztown.edu\departments\departmentname or for your personal Z drive \\adminfs.kutztown.edu\users\username. Check Reconnect at logon and Finish.
Connecting to Server Drives on a Mac
In Finder, click Go then Connect to Server. In the server address field, type smb://adminfs.kutztown.edu and click Connect. Type in the username and network password
and click Connect. Select the folder you want to connect to and click OK. Campus=Shared Read Only, Departments=Your Department Folder, Users=Your Personal Folder (only accessible by you). The folder will open and a drive icon will appear on your desktop. - i>Clicker

What happens to my KU files and account when I leave KU
Your live.kutztown.edu email is yours to keep as long as it’s being used. The files that you have stored on university servers and OneDrive will be removed within a few months after you leave KU. Therefore, if you wish to retain these files, before you leave KU, please move them to another device or location.

Student File Access from Off-Campus
Our suggestion for students to access files from off-campus are to download a package that supports FTP, FTPS and SFTP such as http://filezilla-project.org
Then type in a browser ftp://stufs.kutztown.edu. Log in with username: students\username (jsmit555) and your current password. -
Installing Adobe Suite
Directions for Installing Adobe Applications:
- Go to https://creativecloud.adobe.com
- Click Sign in and enter your email address, then click Continue
- If prompted, select Company or School Account
- At the KU Single Sign-On Page, enter your email address and password, then click Sign On
- At the main Adobe screen, click on the button View All
If you have the Adobe Create Cloud App on your computer:
- Find apps in the list and click Install
- Click the button Open Creative Cloud Desktop App
OR
If you DO NOT have the Adobe Create Cloud App on your computer:
- Find the app in the list and click Download
- If it states that Permissions may be required simply click OK
Please note if you install Acrobat DC, it may tell you it is a 7 day trial. If this happens, please download and run this patch: https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/enterprise/kb/covid-19-edu-labs-faq/jcr_content/main-pars/download_section/download-1/AcrobatStudentAccess.zip
Note, this is a Windows only patch.
