Your KU Username
Your KU Username
A KU username (also known as a KU User ID) is created for all students that have paid their ARD (Advanced Registration Deposit). For students, your username will be the first letter of your first name, the first four letters of your last name, and a series of three numbers. Your username is used to access university computers, networks, email, and services.
Reset Your Password
Passwords are good for 180 days. Every 180 days, a password reset will be required to promote account security. You’ll be reminded (via email) well in advance when it’s time to change your network password. Self Service password resets allow you to easily change your password online. If you have forgotten your current password or need assistance, call the IT Help Center at 610-683-1511 to reset your password.
