Get Started
  • Your KU Username

    Your KU Username

A KU username (also known as a KU User ID) is created for all students that have paid their ARD (Advanced Registration Deposit). For students, your username will be the first letter of your first name, the first four letters of your last name, and a series of three numbers. Your username is used to access university computers, networks, email, and services.

    Reset Your Password

Passwords are good for 180 days. Every 180 days, a password reset will be required to promote account security. You’ll be reminded (via email) well in advance when it’s time to change your network password. Self Service password resets allow you to easily change your password online. If you have forgotten your current password or need assistance, call the IT Help Center at 610-683-1511 to reset your password.

  • Get Connected to WiFi on Campus

    Use BearNet Secure

It is strongly recommended that all faculty, staff, and students join the BearNet Secure wireless network on all devices that support it (i.e. laptops, desktop computers, mobile phones and tablets).

    Register your WiFi Device

To connect your other WiFi devices (i.e. Xbox, PlayStation, Apple TV, Smart TV, Amazon Echo, Amazon Firestick, Roku, etc.) to the wireless network, you will need to self-register and add your device to the ResNet WiFi.

  • Print on Campus

Students are given a printing allocation of 300 pages per semester. If you use up your allotment, you can request additional pages at no cost

KU has recently adopted Mobility Print and Email to Print. These services provide students with print-friendly access to their own documents from their personal devices.

Printing is also available in all computer labs.

Microsoft Office 365 is available to all Kutztown University faculty, staff, and students at no charge. • Manage KU Alert Notifications

In the event of an emergency, timely and accurate communication of information is critical. Kutztown University has developed a plan for emergency communication that utilizes multiple and redundant methods of communication and notification in order to maximize the effectiveness and reach of the emergency information.

Each student’s primary mobile phone number and KU email is automatically registered to receive warning messages. Learn more about KU Alerts or add additional phone numbers or email addresses.
