Prepare for Transfer Orientation

1. Select and register for your orientation date. Be sure to have no other obligations on that date before you select. View our Fall 2019 Transfer Dates.

2. Take the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment. All new students must take the Aleks Math Placement Assessment. This is not a test. We will use this information to place you in the appropriate level of math. Please note: students who have been awarded transfer credit equivalent to MAT 017 (Introduction to Mathematics), or higher, are not required to take the math assessment. If you have questions or experience any technical issues, please contact Dr. Paul Ache, Chair of the Department of Mathematics, at or 610-683-4410.t click here.

You can watch our helpful video for more information:

3. Thinking about changing your major?  Sometimes students change their mind about their major from the time they apply until the time they enroll. If you would like to request a change to your major, email the Office of Undergraduate Admissions  Please make all change of major requests prior to attending orientation. This will help to avoid unnecessary delays.

4. You will have your picture taken at orientation. Bring a valid form of photo I.D. with you such as a driver's license, school I.D. or passport.

5. Remember to request all final transcripts, including high school and college. Please send all final official transcripts to KU's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. (Financial aid can be impacted without this information).
