KU Shuttle FAQ

Who can ride the shuttle?

  • All full-time and part-time undergraduate students have unlimited access to all shuttle services with a Kutztown University ID Card. A transportation Service Fee of $45 per semester is charged to all full-time undergraduate students and pro-rated for all part-time undergraduate students.
  • Faculty, staff and graduate students may purchase access to the Shuttle Bus Service for $45.00 per semester.
  • Community Residents may purchase a shuttle bus pass that is good for one semester. The cost is $45.00. Passes can be purchased at the Kutztown Borough Office.

How can I check the location of the bus?

If you have a smartphone, you may track the bus of your choice by downloading a mobile app. Simply click your app button on your smartphone and search for "Ride Systems." Once downloaded, choose Kutztown University under configuration.

If I am in a wheelchair, am I able to use the Shuttle Bus Service?

Yes, the Campus Shuttle service is handicap accessible.

Does the Shuttle Bus Service operate during evening hours?

For the fall semester, the Campus Shuttle operates from 4:00pm-10:00pm Monday through Wednesday, 4:00pm-3:00pm on Thursday, and 7:00pm-3:00am on Friday and Saturday. This schedule is being tested through October 6, 2017.

Does the Shuttle Bus Service operate on national holidays that fall on weekdays during academic semesters?

The bus operates will classes are in session. If classes are not held due to a national holiday, the bus service will not run.
