Surplus Property Postings

Kutztown University Procurement Services Office is tasked with the periodic disposal of surplus assets (fixtures, furniture, and equipment).  We anticipate this process will be undertaken approximately twice a year.

All items are offered in as-is condition and are available to any interested parties on the best offer basis. In addition, interested parties will be responsible for all costs related to the removal of surplus items from the university campus.

  The State Adverse Interest Law prohibits the sale of surplus property to any university employee.  Accordingly, university employees, either directly or indirectly, are not permitted to bid on items made available through publicly-advertised surplus property sales.  Also, those university employees who are directly involved with the award and distribution of surplus items cannot do business with or sit on the governing boards of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that wish to participate in the surplus donation program.
