The Freyberger Schoolhouse is located on the grounds of the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at the northwest corner of campus.
It is a one-room schoolhouse originally built in th 1830s and moved to Kutztown University in the 1990s. Today, it serves as home for classes taught in the PA German Studies minor, as well as the location of special events at the Heritage Center, such as Christmas and Easter on the Farm.
The schoolhouse is named in honor of Kutztown alumna Ruth M. Freyberger.
