          Dr. Yongjae Kim began his appointment at Kutztown University in the Fall of 2009. He currently teaches various sport management courses. Dr. Kim has been involved in various research projects with an emphasis on consumer behavior and psychology. His research efforts have focused primarily upon the development of a theoretical background of sport marketing by identifying psychosocial and environmental factors of sport consumers. Specific topics include sport consumer behavior, sport sponsorship, media effectiveness, and brand management. The findings from these various projects have been presented at several national and international conferences and have been published in top-tiered sport management and marketing journals. In addition, as Executive Director of KU Sport Business Institute, Dr. Kim has provided extensive leadership and service to a variety of professional sport organizations such as Reading Royals, LV Steel Hawks, the IAAF World Championships and F-1 Korean Grand Prix. Dr. Kim recently earned the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) Research Fellow designation.
