Freshmen Summer Reading Assignment and

Freshmen Event 2016 - Monday, September 12, 6:00 p.m.,

Welcome to Kutztown University's College of Business Freshmen Connections!

You are about to begin your university career and like all careers, habits are powerful behaviors that will assist in making you successful.

In preparation for your first semester, you are expected to read "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey during the summer.  There are also video and book summary online reading and watching assignments listed below. A copy of this assignment page with links to assignment materials may be found on the College of Business website home page http://www.kutztown.edu/business.

You are also expected to attend the Freshman Event, Monday, September 12th at 6:00 p.m., which is hosted by the College's Business Advisory Board and faculty. During this event, you will discuss the summer reading assignments and have an opportunity to hear tips for launching your college career successfully.

Refreshments will be served.

"The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey This book may be purchased online. Alternatively, you may find and borrow the book from your local library. Summer reading assignment that should be completed by September 12.
"Where are you in Covey's 4 Quadrants?" by Brian Johnson Link to the YouTube video: https://youtu.be/OI9VLDWXavg Watch the video and create a list of what types of things are time wasters for you! Be prepared to discuss them and develop your personal quadrant at the September event.
