A master of business administration is one of most recognized credentials for advanced business professionals. KU’s innovative MBA degree is built so that you can pursue two of three distinct professional certificates, letting you customize your focus based on your interests and career demands.
Our MBA program is flexible, consisting of 30 credits offered as a combination of hybrid and 100% online courses, as well as a mix of 15-week and 7.5-week courses. You can pursue your academic interest in the method and timeframe that fits your busy schedule, and finish in as little as 3 semesters.
Thanks to its recent redesign, our MBA program is cross-functional and intentionally cuts across traditional business silos, meaning that you graduate with holistic knowledge of all aspects of business.

You may begin the admissions process with only the application and application fee, and add other elements later. However, you will not receive an admissions decision until all elements are submitted.
MBA degree-seeking students can be admitted as degree-seeking students, either before any graduate certificate has been completed or at any time during the graduate certificate earning process. However, acceptance into a graduate certificate does not mean acceptance into the MBA.
If a student has successfully completed a graduate certificate with an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher, the student can be directly admitted to the MBA program, subject to a grade review.
Up to 1/3 of the credits required for the MBA program may be transferred from another institution. All coursework must be approved for transfer credit. A grade of “B” or higher is required for a course to be considered for transfer credit. Reference the Graduate Transfer Credit policy for additional information.
Graduate Assistantships cover the cost of tuition and provide a yearly stipend of up to $7,500.00. There are a limited number of Graduate Assistantships available at Kutztown University, including opportunities with the College of Business and the PA-Lead-Office Small Business Development Center. The Graduate Assistantships webpage provides a list of available positions with application information. Graduate assistants are selected based on their academic and professional backgrounds. You must have earned admission to a graduate program to be selected for a position.
The MBA program requires completion of 10 graduate courses (30 graduate credits), which includes completion of two graduate certificates, an elective and a capstone course. While the program is typically completed in less than 2 years, all course requirements must be completed within 6 calendar years of admission to the program.
