About Me:

I am a Kutztown University graduate who was hired shortly after graduating to teach in the Kutztown Area School District. I've been with the district 15 years, teaching second grade and fourth grade and currently serving as a reading specialist for grades K-5. I returned to K.U. for my Master's degree in Reading and earned my reading specialist certification. Recently, I've returned to Kutztown University once again as a part-time, adjunct professor. I enjoy sharing the work I do during the day with my undergraduate students who are eagerly preparing for the field. In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing, running, kayaking, hiking, and motorcycle riding.
