Cynthia Stunkard holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She earned a B.S. in Special and Elementary Education and an M.Ed. in Special Education at Slippery Rock University. Prior to teaching at Kutztown University, Dr. Stunkard taught for 26 years at multiple grade levels from Pre-K through high school. She taught different populations of students with and without disabilities with various instructional delivery methods. She also was an adjunct faculty member at Slippery Rock University and UNLV. She is involved with the Professional Development Schools movement.
