Competencies Across the Curriculum Approval Forms

In order to have a course approved as fulfilling a Competency Across the Curriculum:

  1. Read the guidelines to determine if your course qualifies (guidelines on the Competencies page of this website; guidelines also included with the downloadable forms below).
  2. Download and complete a Competency Across the Curriculum Cover Sheet (below), using the appropriate color for your college (list at bottom of page) and obtaining an identification routing number from your college curriculum committee, and finally secure the approval of your department and the signature of your department chair. (If the course has multiple prefixes, obtain approval from all affected departments.) This signed copy of the Competency Across the Curriculum Cover Sheet is commonly referred to as the "original."
