Kutztown University now offers a master's degree in a rapidly growing field-Arts Administration. Unique to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, this Master of Arts degree prepares graduates to manage the business side of cultural institutions and the arts, events and non-profit organizations. It brings the disciplines of aesthetic assessment and business acumen together into an exciting creative program.

Build your experience by learning through Kutztown's Department of Art Education and Crafts, as well as the College of Business. The M.A. in Arts Administration is an inter-departmental program that ensures you receive a strong arts management background combined with essential business skills. The coursework will build your skills in leadership, marketing, fundraising, civic management, research applications, ethical and legal issues in the arts. Graduates will have the ability to collaborate with government organizations, institutional patrons and others who appeal for arts funding. You will have the capability to analyze, research, present and design processes and projects. As an arts administrator, you would be hands-on in facilitating growth and success in the arts and culture worlds.

At Kutztown, you will also find the faculties in both schools have the expertise and commitment to help you achieve your goal. This program ensures that resources are offered beyond the campus through internships, professional job recruitment, and community outreach projects.

Core courses are taught online, with electives offering the opportunity to study on campus, in a blended learning format, or online. Full time enrollment allows for program completion (30 credits) within four semesters.
