Bachelor of Science in:

Biology: Allied Health

This program is designed to prepare students for further education in a variety of health-related fields including, but not limited to, the following: physical therapy, physician assistant, pharmacy, laboratory technology, occupational therapy, optometry, and chiropractic.

Research and Internships

Many Biology majors conduct independent research projects for credit. Research results are often presented at local, regional and national meetings and/or symposia. In addition, many of our students have completed internships with a large number of cooperating agencies.

Specialized Equipment

Biology majors benefit from the use of specialized equipment that has been supported in part by grants from the National Science Foundation.

Admission Requirements

Transfer students must have a combined 2.75 GPA from all institutions they previously attended for the Biology/Pre-Medical major.
